The Teltonika RUT301 is a compact and cost‑efficient industrial Ethernet router designed for secure wired networking in industrial, enterprise, and retail environments. It delivers reliable LAN and WAN connectivity while maintaining strong security and flexible network control.
The RUT301 features five Fast Ethernet ports—one WAN and four LAN—allowing simple network segmentation and device isolation. This layout supports industrial machinery, point‑of‑sale systems, controllers, and infrastructure equipment that require stable wired connections.
In addition, the router includes two configurable digital inputs/outputs and a USB 2.0 port. These interfaces enable basic automation tasks, device monitoring, and easy integration with external peripherals.
The RUT301 runs Teltonika RutOS, an OpenWrt‑based industrial operating system. It supports advanced routing, VLAN segmentation, QoS, NAT, and a pre‑configured firewall. As a result, networks remain protected while traffic stays controlled and predictable.
For secure remote access, the router supports multiple VPN technologies, including OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, L2TP, GRE, DMVPN, ZeroTier, and Tailscale. This makes the RUT301 suitable for site‑to‑site connectivity and remote maintenance scenarios.
The device is fully compatible with Teltonika RMS (Remote Management System). Administrators can monitor status, deploy firmware updates, manage configurations, and troubleshoot devices remotely. Consequently, maintenance costs drop and large deployments scale efficiently.
